"I Was Starting To Have Some Issues..."
I'm at an age now where I need to be
more aware of what's going on with my body.
Over the years,
I began to notice some changes to my
bowel movements & eating habits.
Instead of ignoring these changes,
- like I would have in my teens & 20s,
I mentioned them to my wife
& she suggested that I should
schedule for a colonoscopy.

"Everybody Kept Telling Me The Same Thing..."
'"It's not so bad."
"Don't worry about the procedure."
"The prep is the worst part."
- Pretty much everyone I talked to
about this said one of those responses.
& I AM over 45 now, so it would be best
to be proactive & check things out.
So we scheduled my colonoscopy...
& YES,
the prep the 24 hours before
the procedure WAS the worst part!!
But, it also wasn't THAT bad!

"I'm Glad I Got Those Results NOW..."
'Long story short,
I did the prep, didn't eat for 24 hours
& "cleansed-out" my system.
I arrived for the procedure
& the staff was very friendly & helpful.
I put on the hospital gown,
laid down & basically took a nap. Lol.
I woke up some time later &
that was it! The end.
My wife & I left the facility,
immediately got something light to eat
& that was that...
Until the results came...

"I Was Fortunate."
My results were good.
The worries that I previously had
don't appear to be present.
But even if the results came back bad,
it would be MUCH better to get them
sooner rather later,
- when I KNOW that there are issues.
Overall, I'm glad that I told my wife
& that she nudged me into
scheduling an appointment...
Hopefully things will go this smooth
when I return in 5 years!!
